Are you interested in myofunctional therapy for your child, but unsure of what all may be involved? The complimentary session is a window of up to 20 minutes to ask questions and get to know me and how I may be able to be able to support you in this journey to improved oral and systemic function. Although a comprehensive assessment is necessary to determine your child’s specific needs, based on a few screening questions, we can determine if your child could benefit from a complete assessment and myofunctional therapy. I’m happy to meet with you via Telehealth, phone or in the office. 

I always begin with a comprehensive examination which takes place in the office. During this evaluation we will thoroughly dissect medical, dental and oral function history. This is our time to do the deep dive of identifying symptoms, discussing concerns and creating goals you wish to achieve for your child through the therapy process.  An extensive intraoral examination with multiple functional screening assessments will take place where we will record measurements, also utilizing photos and videos to create a customized myofunctional therapy program for you. When you leave this appointment, you will have a solid foundation for understanding the connection between your child’s symptoms and oral dysfunctions. ***If you choose to sign up for therapy services following the in-office comprehensive evaluation your $150 comprehensive evaluation fee will be waived. At this time, you will receive your personalized Myndful Myo Therapy Tools & Product Kit and New Patient Intake Packet. Your individualized treatment plan will be reviewed and signed at this time. These additional services can take up to an additional 30 minutes following your comprehensive New Patient evaluation. 

This phone call or Telehealth call takes place shortly after your comprehensive appointment where we can discuss in detail your treatment plan, cost associated with therapy services, additional goals and I can happily answer any additional questions you have. It will be at this time we will schedule our first myofunctional therapy appointment together. At this appointment you will receive your child’s personalized Myndful Myo Therapy Tools & Product Kit. Following our call, I will provide you with access to the New Patient Intake Packet. You can estimate this interaction to take up to 20 minutes. The cost of this visit is included in the comprehensive evaluation fee.
