The complimentary session is a window of up to 20 minutes to ask questions and get to know me and how I may be able to be able to support you in this journey to improved oral and systemic function. Although a comprehensive assessment is necessary to determine your specific needs, based on a few screening questions, we can determine if you could benefit from a complete assessment and myofunctional therapy. I’m happy to meet with you via Zoom, phone or in the office. 

I always begin with a comprehensive examination which takes place in the office. During this evaluation we will thoroughly dissect your medical, dental and oral function history. This is our time to do the deep dive of identifying symptoms, discussing concerns and creating goals you wish to achieve through the therapy process.  An extensive intraoral examination with multiple functional screening assessments will take place where we will record measurements, also utilizing photos and videos to create a customized myofunctional therapy program for you. When you leave this appointment, you will have a solid foundation for understanding the connection between your symptoms and oral dysfunctions. Please allow up to 75-90 minutes for this appointment. The fee for this comprehensive service is $ 250 

This phone call or Telehealth call takes place shortly after your comprehensive appointment where we can discuss in detail your treatment plan, cost associated with therapy services, additional goals and I can happily answer any additional questions you have. It will be at this time we will schedule our first myofunctional therapy appointment together. At this appointment you will receive your personalized Myndful Myo Therapy Tools & Product Kit. Following our call, I will provide you with access to the New Patient Intake Packet. You can estimate this interaction to take up to 20 minutes. The cost of this visit is included in the comprehensive evaluation fee.  

Your myofunctional therapy program will consist of approximately 12-16 45-minute sessions over the duration of 3 to 9 months depending on you or your child’s symptoms and our goals for treatment. Myofunctional therapy focuses on improper function and structure associated with the mouth and surrounding structures. These therapy sessions will be in office or via Telehealth and will focus on various orofacial muscle groups through exercises that will bring awareness of current compensation patterns and practice neuromuscular retraining to assist in the developing, or developed, craniofacial structures and functions that will impact a lifetime.
